  1. 🎤 Luma integration

    New Feature

    With the new Luma integration, you can now access analytics for your hosted events and local chapters.

     

    Additionally, you can view and manage your event audience directly in your Talkbase CRM. You can see which of your attendees are already a part of your community, how many events they are attending, and more.

  2. 📊 New dashboard on Community engagement

    Improvement

    We newly divided the engagement dashboard of reach of your community integrations into 4 sections:

    • Overall #s
    • Activities
    • Channels
    • Members

    The dashboard update includes new charts and tables on daily active members, inactive members, inactive channels, and new members.

  3. 👤 Last Activity in CRM Contacts

    We have just added a new “Last Activity” field in Contacts. You can now see the community platform where and when your members were last active. You can also sort by this column.

    The last activity is being tracked across all your community integrations. To check out our current list of community integrations, go to our Knowledge Base.

  4. 🆕 Emails feature

    New Feature

    We are happy to share that we just launched the Emails feature out of beta, and it's now available to all Talkbase users!

     

    Emails will help you easily communicate with your community. Whether for announcements, updates, or event thank-you emails, the idea was to create a simple emailing feature so that you don’t have to export your community contacts for every piece of communication endlessly.

     

    We built two types of emails to help you choose whether to communicate to all your members or directly to specific event attendees. Check out the docs here.

  5. ☁️ Salesforce Integration

    New Feature

    You can connect Talkbase to your Salesforce instance, which will allow you to synchronize data across platforms. Your Contacts and Companies synced from Salesforce will become visibly marked in Talkbase both in lists and CRM details. Along with Contact information, you will see Company size and Industry properties from Salesforce in the details of a Company together with associated contacts. Go here to see how to integrate SFDC.

  6. 👋 Product Updates June 2024

    We are back with monthly product updates. For tutorials and guides, be sure to check out our help center.

     

    📊 Channel filters on Analytics

    You now have the ability to filter out engagement dashboards based on Channels. This applies to Slack, Circle, and Discord communities. Once you choose the channel you want to view, the whole dashboard will show members and engagement data only in that channel based on your selected time period.

    ⏳ Better Filters in CRM

    Newly updated filters give you even better options to segment your community members. You are now able to filter by:

    • Create date: Filter Contacts by when they first joined your CRM
    • Joined date: Filter by when your Contact joined your community platform (Slack, Circle, Discord, or GitHub)
    • Source: Now showing all available Sources you have instead of typing them out
    • Integrations: If a contact is or is not synced with other platforms
    • Enrichment: If you have or haven’t previously enriched selected contacts
    • Event check-in: View attendees who came to your events directly from your CRM page

     

     

    ☑️ Bulk actions on Events

    It’s now easier than ever to manage your event registrations directly on the event page without returning to the CRM. On the registration page, you can now perform bulk actions, such as:

    • Tag your event attendees all at once
    • Add them to a static list
    • Or reject multiple attendees from the event

    🌐 Contact Enrichment

    Community Contact Enrichment is designed to empower you with comprehensive information about your contacts within the Talkbase CRM. By leveraging this feature, you can enhance your existing contact database with valuable details, turning basic contact information into a rich and detailed resource.

    All that is required to enrich a contact is an email address. Learn how to enrich an individual contact here and how to bulk enrich a group of contacts here.

     

    ☑️ Multi-select Option on Forms

    We’ve created a new attribute type for forms throughout Talkbase and for custom attributes in the CRM. Users now have the ability to create a multi-select picklist form option. This is applicable for CRM custom attributes, event registration forms, and community applications.

    👤 Public Profiles

    Based on our user's feedback, we have rebuilt our public profile feature. You can now easily create public profiles directly from your contacts' CRM page. Great ways to use this are creating profiles for your community team or ambassadors and listing them on your Community Page and or creating profiles for your speakers to have their complete profile on an event page.     🌅 Saying Goodbye to Project & Tasks

    Lastly, we have some bittersweet news to share. We're sunsetting our feature 'Projects & Tasks' to prioritize our core platform and beloved add-ons. If you're actively using the feature, it'll remain available to you for the next 90 days to give you enough time to migrate your data! And don't worry, your task boards in Events are staying there.

    Workspace owners can now delete entire workspaces, all data included.

    We improved the user experience flow of inviting new members to a workspace.

    We updated our billing page with in-app checkout and add-on purchasing.

  10. 🆕 Introducing Companies in Talkbase CRM

     

    We just launched the latest update to our CRM (Community Relationship Management) system, which is Companies. With Companies, you can now easily view all the companies associated with the members of your community.

    In addition to tracking basic company details, we monitor all the members of that company and their overall participation in your community. You can also see which platforms members interact with, including your community platforms, HubSpot, Mailchimp, and more.
